Christopher J Roth

Chris is originally from Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri and moved to Nebraska several years ago to attend law school at Creighton University School of Law, graduating in 2010 cum laude. Chris attended undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia and received a Bachelor's Degree in History and Political Science.

Chris began his legal career as a law clerk with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, where he developed a passion for immigration law, except his passion fell on the side of the immigrants. After law school, Chris worked in the field of immigration law for a few years before developing an interest in criminal law, which he now thoroughly enjoys.

Chris has worked on hundreds of criminal cases, including felony level criminal cases, as well as hundreds of immigration cases in the immigration court system and in front of government agencies dealing with immigration law. Chris has written an article for the Nebraska Lawyer on Cross Examination in Sexual Assault Cases, and has spoken on this topic at two conferences. Chris has also presented twice at the annual Nebraska conference for court interpreters on topics including ethics and working with expert witnesses. Chris also speaks conversational level Spanish.

Chris' passion lies with trying cases in the courtroom, and has taken several felony cases to trial. He enjoys fighting for his clients in front of juries. Chris also has experience in appellate criminal work, and has been involved in two federal appellate cases which received published decisions.

Chris is married to his wonderful wife Sarah, and has two beautiful children, Laila and Everleigh.
